Employment efforts are led through Family Fun Day and the Santa Claus Workshop, which serve as growing platforms for workforce engagement.
Family Fun Day, in particular, is an annual community festival that currently attracts more than 200 residents of all ages. It offers a welcoming environment with music, games, food, and family-friendly activities, and its long-term goal is to become a meaningful employment pipeline. As the event expands, it will connect residents—especially youth and young adults—with summer jobs, workforce training, and career opportunities.
Employers, community organizations, and service providers will be invited to engage directly with residents, helping remove barriers and make opportunities more accessible within the neighborhood.
Currently, we have three events that provide opportunities for youth employment.
